Victor Allen Duprey, 56, of Haggett Road, East Montpelier died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at his home. He was born in Barre, VT on February 22, 1956 the son of Eugene A. Duprey & Betty Lou Sanborn. Victor attended Chelsea Grade Schools and High School. On July 5, 1983 he married the former Mary Thurston in Graniteville. Victor worked for the National Clothespin Company and later was a self-employed carpenter in the Central Vermont area. He was a member of the Old Meeting House Church in East Montpelier Center. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, yearly family trips and spending time watching his grandchildren ride his 1938 silver streak train. Survivors include his Mother, Betty Lou Moses of Barre; significant other, Marie Katon of East Montpelier; daughter, Shannon Davis of East Calais; two sons, Christopher A. Duprey of East Montpelier; Eric A. Duprey of East Montpelier; 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Teresa; Tammy; Sandy; Darryl "Bob"; Clyde "Butch"; Rickie; Scott and Chuck; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 10-11:00 am on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Old Meeting House Church in East Montpelier Center. A Funeral service will begin at 11:00am.
