Barre, VT
Timothy D. "Tim" Sykas, 49, of Lawrence Ave., Barre died Thursday,
December 20, 2007 at Central Vermont Hospital.
Tim was born December 17, 1958, in Montpelier the son of Thomas W.
and Ruth E. (Woodard) Sykas. He graduated from Northfield High
School in 1976.
After his education Tim joined the Vermont National Guard and served
for 20 years. He worked for many years for Nicom and also for his
uncle Paul at the Lobster Pot Restaurant. Tim was a jack of all
trades.
He married Margaret Ledoux in 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and three children,
Christopher, Mikaela and Nicholas all of Barre.
He is also survived by three sisters, Anna Sykas of Vershire; Ruth
Beard of Montpelier; Elizabeth Sykas-Ringgenberg of Montpelier;
brother, Thomas W. Sykas, Jr. of Burlington; and numerous nieces,
nephews, aunts and uncles.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be in the family lot in Berlin Corners Cemetery in the
spring.
