Montpelier, VT Theresa (Terry) Mureta, born in 1934 in St. Johnsbury, VT. She was the daughter of Eddie and Marie Jeanne Allain. She moved to Barre, VT when she was 4 years old and attended St. Monicas graded school and Sacred Heart High School in Newport, VT. In 1953, she married her loving husband Joseph T. Mureta. They had 6 children together and she devoted her whole life to her family, making sure they always had what they needed. Terry and Joe were married for 66 years and made many happy memories together. She enjoyed cooking venison for her boys and shopping with her girls. Terry also loved spending summers at Joes Pond and celebrating the Fourth of July with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, brother George Allain, in laws Steve and Ann Mureta, sister in law Elizabeth Leroy, special nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special daughter, Lynda Mureta Aldrich. She leaves behind her wonderful husband Joe, her sons, Gary J. Mureta of California, Daniel D. Mureta of Montpelier, Douglas E. Mureta of Barre. Her daughters Brenda L. Aiken of Williston and Michelle Mureta Parker of Berlin. She had 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, she was very proud of them all. At Terrys request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. The family will have a private burial later this summer in the Green Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Augustines church in Montpelier, VT.
