Roger Glenn Mack, 84, of Williamstown, VT passed away peacefully on December 22, 2023 at his home with his daughter and sister by his side. Roger was a loving father, brother and friend to many. Roger was born on November 9, 1939 in Montpelier, VT to Wayne and Luella Mack.

Roger attended schools in East Montpelier and Montpelier and graduated from MHS in 1959. Roger worked for the Capitol City Press in his earlier years and then as a Maintenance Supervisor for the State of Vermont where he retired from in 2007.

Roger was married to Marie (Blow) Mack and they later divorced.

Roger had many hobbies and interests, some of these included watching his beloved Red Sox, playing baseball, basketball, football, and softball. Roger had two beloved cat's named Tarzan and Shadow.

Roger is survived by his daughter Shelby Lunn and John Lackey of Northfield, VT, granddaughter Avah Lunn of Northfield, VT and sisters: Marilyn (Mack) Preston of Lakeland, FL and Linda (Mack) Isham and Gary Isham of Barre, VT, and nephews: Larry Preston of Lakeland, FL and Corey Isham of Barre, VT. Nieces Lynette Pierce of Conway, NH and Kim Marcotte and Joanna Isham both of Barre, VT.

Roger was predeceased by his parents Wayne and Luella Mack as well as his nephew Glenn Isham.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are in the care of Guare and Sons Funeral Home of Montpelier, VT. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Guare and Sons Funeral Home.

Roger's family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice, 600 Granger Road, Berlin, VT 05641 or to the Central Vermont Humane Society, 1589 VT Route 14 South East Montpelier VT 05651.
