Montpelier, VT Richard Alfred Kennison, 63, formerly of River Street and most recently of Barre Town, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, VT. He was born on May 28, 1957 at Heaton Hospital in Montpelier, the son of Robert and Geraldine (McQueen) Kennison. He attended Montpelier Public School graduating in 1976. Rick worked for many different places in Central Vermont including, as a custodian for the Montpelier School district, he worked security for the State of Vermont, and for a while he owned and operated the Grey Wolf Property Management Company. Rick was excellent with animals, especially a couple of special dogs in his life named, Stella and Shelby. Rick also enjoyed the outdoors. Survivors include his siblings, Donna Rouleau of Barre Town, Connie Squiers of Barre Town, and Robert Kennison of Barre Town. He also leaves his very best friend Dennis Maranville, of Middlesex, VT, who has been more like a brother to him for most if Rick's life.
