Rebecca Lee Allard

Rebecca Lee Allard, 75, of Berlin, VT passed away unexpectedly at her home with her devoted husband Larry by her side.

Rebecca was born on February 13, 1949, in Morrisville, VT to her parents Leland Chaffee and Beatrix Jones Chaffee. Rebecca attended schools in Essex Junction VT and graduated from Essex High School.

Rebecca was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She worked outside of the home in the administrative offices of the Vermont State Police and Prison system. Rebecca enjoyed her time working for Raypak, a tech company in California.

Rebecca and Larry married on June 24, 1967, at St. Michael's Church in Winooski Park, VT. They started their life and loving marriage together, and they had four beautiful children.

Rebecca was notably a gardener. She had a "green thumb" and could plant anything and make it grow. Her children and husband shared a story about Rebecca "planting a stick" that grew into a beautiful, flourishing plant. Rebecca also had a love for animals particularly her cats Zippy and Bandit (Bandie) and her beloved dog Sammy.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her daughter Anne-Marie Allard in 1991.

Rebecca is survived by her devoted husband Larry Allard of Berlin, VT, and her children Lisa Allard of Winooski, VT, Joey Pera (Patric) of Greenwood, Indiana, and Jon Allard (Kristy) of Hyde Park, VT. Also, her loving grandchildren Ashley Doyon (Jamie), Tyler Pera (Megan), Zachary Pera (Brianne), Shyanne Allard, Saige Allard, and Savanna Allard, as well as great-grandchildren.
