Real Joseph Audet, a beloved father, devoted grandfather, and skilled mechanic, passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer on October 3, 2023 at his home in Worcester, VT. Born on May 30, 1958, in Morrisville, VT, Joe's vibrant spirit and zest for life touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Joe's passion for automobiles led him to pursue self-employment and he developed Joe Audet's Auto and Truck Sales of Worcester, VT. Previously Joe pursued his passion of being an 18-wheel truck driver working for Maxham's Trucking.

Away from the garage, Joe found solace and joy in the great outdoors. He had a deep love for camping at Sunset Rock in Isla Motte, which was one of his favorite places to recharge and connect with nature and being surrounded by his camp family. Joe also reveled in the excitement of car shows, especially at the yearly Lake George car show. Admiring the intricacy and craftsmanship of classic automobiles brought him immense pleasure and sparked lively conversations with fellow enthusiasts.

Above all else, Joe cherished his role as a father and doted on his three children, Joseph, Angel, and Billie Jo. Their presence in his life brought immeasurable joy and treasured memories. Joe's face would light up with happiness whenever he had the opportunity to spend quality time together, whether it was enjoying cookouts with the family or engaging in heartfelt conversations that showcased his unwavering love and support.

Joe's life will forever be remembered with celebration and reminiscence. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his beloved children, Joseph (wife Melinda), Angel, and Billie Jo. Also, his precious grandchildren, Roy, Chandler, McKenzie, Joshua, Meadow, Malika, Ava, Sophia, Sierra, and Alannah; several siblings and all of those that came to know him.

He was predeceased by his parents Arthur Audet and Claire (Boisvert) Audet. Also, his precious grandson Dustin Audet and wife Susan Audet.

Arrangements are in the care of Guare and Sons Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier, VT. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on October 27, 2023 from 6-8 pm, funeral services will be held at the Worcester United Methodist Church on October 28, 2023 at 11 am, and a private family burial will immediately follow the funeral services. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and bid farewell to this remarkable man who brought so much warmth and happiness into their lives.

Joe will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter, his dedication to his craft, and the love and kindness he shared with his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
