Ramona Ann Lumsden, 85, formerly of Whittier Hill Road, Cabot, died May 25, 2024, after a long battle with dementia/Alzheimer's disease.

Ramona was born on March 21, 1939 in St. Johnsbury, VT, the daughter of Ethel Pearl Chase and Patrick Norman Davis. She attended St. Johnsbury Academy and graduated from there. Ramona was a homemaker and sold Avon. She also worked at Cabot Creamery for many years in the packaging division.

She married Wayne Lumsden on Oct. 15, 1987, in Cabot. She enjoyed riding the backroads in her car, listening to country music or audio books and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Nunn and her husband, Carter, of Benton: son Jeffrey Sweeney, of Barre; son, Timothy Sweeney and his wife Amy of KY, daughter Dawn Roberts and her husband, John, of TN; three stepsons, John Lumsden and his wife, Robin, of Highgate Center, Matt Lumsden, of Essex Junction, and Allan Lumsden and his wife, Laura of Rochester Hills, MI; one stepdaughter Jennifer Devenger and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Greensboro Village Cemetery.
