Barre Town, VT Norma Lawrence passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015. She was born on December 27, 1922 in Duxbury, VT, the daughter of Nancy Davis and step-daughter of Roy Davis of Jonesville, VT. She married Harold Currier, now deceased, of Vergennes, VT in June of 1940. She married Matthew Lawrence from Richmond, VT on May 9, 1951. Norma retired from the Navy Exchange in Newport, RI, and spent many years as a Nurse's Aide at the Newport, RI Hospital and at Heaton House, in Montpelier, VT. She is survived by her husband Matthew, a son Robert Currier and his wife Ruth, a son Garry Lawrence and his wife Rachel, a son Harold Lawrence and his wife Jeannie, a daughter Carolyn Lawrence, a brother Richard Davis and his wife Shirley and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Richmond, VT. Arrangements are in the care of Guare & Sons Funeral Home.
