Montpelier, VT Muriel S. Gray, 98, of Montpelier, passed away February 18, 2013 at Rowan Court Nursing Home after a brief illness. Born November 11, 1914 in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Clement and Ann (Fleischmann) Sees. Moving to Vermont at an early age, she grew up in the Barnard/Woodstock area. Muriel married Harold Gray March 14, 1937. They moved to Montpelier in 1941. Muriel worked for many years as a waitress at the Lobster Pot Restaurant retiring in 1999 at the age of 75. She is survived by a daughter Joan Garcia and her husband Lynn, grandsons Christopher and his wife Heather of Rochester N. Y., L. Scott of San Francisco, CA, great grandchildren Nicole and Grayson and several nieces and a nephew. She was pre-deceased by her husband Harold in 1999, a sister Edna McDonald and a brother Harold Sees. At her request there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A private committal service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and because of her love of animals, donations may be made the Central Vermont Humane Society, P.O.
