Barre, VT Miriam Kerrigan Duquet, 82 of New York, NY, died March 30, 2013 at Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Berlin, VT with her daughter and son by her side. Miriam was born November 30, 1930 in NY where she grew up, married Jean Paul Duquet and move to Montreal, Miami, back to Montreal and then lived in Barre, VT with her daughter, Diane and family. Miriam is survived by her daughter, Diane and her husband John ( Barre, VT) , her son, Marc and his wife, Sophie ( St. Therese, Canada), her Brother Edward and his wife Jeannette ( New Jersey), her Grandson Alexandre, Granddaughter, Chloe, Grandson , Sean, Step Granddaughter, Lauren and other nieces and nephews. Miriam was predeceased by her husband Jean-Paul, her son, JP, her parents and two brothers. Miriam truly loved spending time with family, debating world issues, Crossword puzzles, Pavarotti, traveling, Barbara Streisand, enjoyed old movies, television, and Grocery shopping. There will be no calling hours. A private celebration of her life will be held by family at a later date. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Woodridge Nursing Home, especially the Maplegrove Wing, Amy Brewer APRN, Dr. Anthony Williams, The Staff of Central VT Home Health and The Council on the Aging.
