Michelle Marie (Wadak) Woodcock, at the age of 64, left us peacefully on May 22, 2025 after managing an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis for over 5 years.

Born in San Francisco in 1960, Michelle spent her formative years in Somerville, Massachusetts and Brattleboro, Vermont. She graduated in 1978 from Brattleboro Union High School and continued her education in dietetics. She furthered this education with her dedicated work at Eden Park Nursing Home. This was one of many paths through which her deeply nurturing spirit found expression.

She married Daniel Woodcock in 1988 and together they raised two daughters in Barre, Vermont. Michelle was passionate about maximizing opportunities for youth in the community and dedicated many years to the operation of the Sugarbush Ski Program at various local schools.

Michelle was a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed many a game at Fenway Park. She was an avid skier, concert-goer, loved biking on the Stowe bike path, and enjoyed sailing out on Lake Champlain.

Michelle is lovingly remembered by her family: Shannon Woodcock who now resides in Los Angeles, CA; Dr. Nicole Woodcock living in Williston, VT; Michelle's former husband and friend, Dr. Daniel Woodcock of Barre, VT; her brother Kevin Fraser of Kailua, HI; and her sister, Cathy Fraser of Brattleboro, VT. Michelle's loving nature has resulted in a wonderful network of extended family, friends, and acquaintances who will remember her by embracing a zest for life as fully as she did.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 7th at Castlerock Pub at Sugarbush Resort from 1 - 4 pm. All friends and family are welcome and we look forward to sharing your memories of Michelle together.
