Maximilian Aloysius Florian Leighty, (Salami), of Riverton, VT died Friday, October 18, 2013 at his home. He was a skilled craftsman with wood and fine home building. His love of motorcycles, guns, traveling, and renowned sausage making filled up his free time. He was proud to serve his country in the Navy for six years. Max left behind his best friend and only true love, Donna Leighty. To proudly carry on his name his two sons, Damien Leighty and his wife, Angela and Levi Leighty and his wife, Emily and four grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Abigail & Kyle. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 25th from 5-7 pm at Guare & Sons Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier, VT. Memorial service and burial will be at a later date.
