Obituary

Calais, VT Maureen A. Leno, 70, of Bliss Pond Road passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Berlin Health & Rehab Center. Maureen was born on November 29, 1944, in Waterbury, VT, the daughter of the late William P. and Freda (Boyce) Quinn. She attended the Bradford Academy and graduated in the class of 1962. She worked primarily as a mother raising her three boys. After they were grown, she worked for a number of places including; Legare's Farm Market, Morse Farm, Vermont Life Magazine, and Maunsell Business Equipment. She also helped with the administration of her husband's contracting business. Survivors include her husband, Sterry Leno of Calais; sons, Sterry Leno, II of Barre, Travis Leno and his wife Carol of Georgia, Tyson Leno and his wife Sheila of Calais; nine grandchildren; Tia, Taela, Quinn, Ryan, Hannah, Rachel, Madelyn, Camden and Connor; brother, John Quinn and his wife June of Hardwick, and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her son, Shawn and by her siblings; Mary Dimick, Robert Quinn, Patrick Quinn, and Michael Quinn. Calling Hours will be held from 6-8:00 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home, Montpelier. A committal service will be held in the spring.
