Berlin, VT Maryann B. Konstantin, 48, of Poplar Street, Berlin died Friday, March 7, 2008 at Central Vermont Hospital. She was born February 11, 1960 in Trenton, NJ the daughter of John Martin J. Kuncz, Sr., and Barbara (Furch) Kuncz. Maryann attended St. Michael's Grade School and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1978. She married Michael E. Konstantin, Sr., on September 24, 1983 in Kingwood, Texas. Maryann worked for many years as a administrative assistant for the Vermont Department of Marketing and Tourism. Maryann loved spending time with her children and granddaughter. She enjoyed playing board games and cards and she loved the Jersey Shore. She is survived by her husband, Michael of Berlin; three children, Martin-John Konstantin, US Air Force stationed in California, Marianna of Berlin; Maverick of Berlin; and her granddaughter, Stephanie. She is also survived by her sisters, Laura Eckert of Jacksonville, FL; Barbara Kuncz of Montpelier, VT; Ellen Sue Taylor of Houston, TX; Eileen Fraga of Winooski, VT; Katie Kazen of Warwick, RI; brothers, John Kuncz, Jr., of Williamstown, VT and Chris Kuncz of Cabot, VT; brother-in-law, Don D'Arcy of Barnegat, NJ; and many other beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Stephanie, and her brother, Matthew. A remembrance party will be held at Guare & Sons Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier on Wednesday March 12, from 1-3 PM. Burial will take place in Berlin Corners Cemetery at a later date.
