Mary Margaret Blanchard, 63, of Montpelier, VT passed away at Central Vermont Medical Center on May 6, 2024, after a sudden illness, in the presence of her husband.
Mary was born to her parents James Howell and Florence (Washburn) Howell in Riverside California on July 11, 1960.

She was always herself, as in the words of her favorite celebrity, Kermit the Frog: "I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful, and I think it's what I want to be."
Mary is survived by her loving husband Brian Blanchard of Montpelier, VT, daughter Sally Blanchard-O'Brien and her husband Sean O'Brien of Burlington, VT. She is also survived by her three sisters, Linda Horton of Waterloo, IA, Charlotte Holmquist of Rochester, VT, and Paula Davis of Alexandria, VA. Mary also is survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her parents James Howell and Florence Howell, and her brother James Howell, Jr.
