Montpelier, VT
Mark Wesley Wemitt, 60, of Barre Street, and formerly of Lincoln Ave., Montpelier died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care from complications due to a brief illness and a fall earlier this summer.
Mark was born in Middlebury, VT on July 28, 1952, the son of Clement B. and Marilyn (Sears) Wemitt.
Mark attended St. Michael's Grade School in Montpelier. Mark did odd jobs for folks in Montpelier and Waterbury. He was always glad to have friends stop at his home to visit and talk.
Survivors include his mother, Marilyn of Montpelier; three sisters, Gail Pinard of Hoonah, Alaska; Beth Plante of East Montpelier, VT; and Jaye Kwasnik of Glenwood, NJ; a brother, Todd Wemitt of Montpelier; as well as nieces and nephews. Mark had two cats that he adored, Sidney & Samantha and a special friend, Harris Webster, who helped him every week for many years.
Mark was predeceased by his father and brother Matthew, both in 1973.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 5th from 1- 2 pm at Guare & Sons Funeral Home. A Memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm.
Burial will be in the family lot at Binghamville Cemetery.
