BARRE TOWN - Marilyn B. Perry, 86, of Barre Town passed away May 7th 2014 at her home on Phelps Road. She was the wife of the late Walter J. Perry who predeceased her in 1994.
Marilyn was born July 1, 1927 in Sheldon Springs, VT. She was the daughter of Harold and Alice (Bean) Breer. She later moved to East Montpelier with her family where she attended East Montpelier Schools and enjoyed her life on the family farm.
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister, and her many nieces and nephews. She especially enjoyed making her "delicious chocolate chip cookies and fudge" for family, their friends and family gatherings as well as gardening and watching the Red Sox.
She is survived by her son, Bruce L. Perry (Moose) and his wife Bonnie, her daughter, Bonnie L. Sibley and her husband Jeff. She is also survived by four grandsons Bryan Perry, Keith Perry, Scott Sibley and his wife Jodi, Eric Sibley and his significant other Nina Mirabile, three great grandchildren Leland Perry, Colby Brochu and Katelyn Sibley, her sister Beverly Bagalio and her husband Peter, sisters-in-law Kathryn Breer and Betty Breer and her beloved granddog and companion Oskar.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Walter J. Perry; four brothers, Clifford Breer; George Breer; Wilbur (Pete) Breer and Wayne Breer; sisters, Evelyn Long and Shirley Wright as well as two sisters that died at birth.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 10th at 9 A.M. at the Plain-Mont Cemetery in Plainfield, followed by a get-to-gether to remember her life with family and friends at the Sibley Farm, 350 Sibley Road, East Montpelier.
