North Montpelier, VT Lorraine M. Papineau, 77, of North Montpelier, died at her home on Monday, June 6, 2011. She was born on July 10, 1933 in Hartford, VT, the daughter of James and Mable (Stone) Lunderville. She attended school in Hartford, VT. On October 21, 1951, she married Norman H. Papineau in Quechee, VT. Mr. Papineau predeceased her on August 18, 2007. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, spending time with her children, crossword puzzles and anything that involved being with her family. Survivors include three daughters; Sheryl Moran of Walden, VT, Shayne Roster of Wyoming, and Robin Garbacik of Berlin, ; two sons, Richard Papineau of Williamstown and James Papineau of Plainfield, VT; a step daughter, Sheila Martin of Leominister, MA, two sisters, Arlene Bauer of Leominister, MA and Shirley Kirkwood of Leominister, MA; She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Lunderville and Francis Lunderville; and a grandson, Oaklyn Garbacik. Calling hours will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, June 16th at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home. A private family committal service will be held at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
