Linda Tassie, 56, formerly of Montpelier but most recently of the Four Seasons Care Home in Northfield died on Saturday, August 24, 2013. She was born on August 10, 1957 in Rutland, VT and was educated in the Rutland School System. On July 15, 1985 she married Dean Tassie at St. Monica Church in Barre, VT. Mr. Tassie predeceased her on September 1, 2008. She was a devoted parishioner of the St. Augustine's Catholic Church and treasured worker at their Friday Soup kitchen. A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 6th at 2:00 pm from St. Augustine Church. Committal prayers & burial will be at a later date.
