East Montpelier, VT Lena P. Brazier, 85, of Brazier Road died on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. She was born in Duxbury, VT on March 19, 1929, the daughter of Clayton and Bertha (Luce) Phillips. She attended graded schools in Duxbury and Berlin and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1947. On August 18, 1957, she married Henry Brazier at the Berlin Congregational Church. Mr. Brazier predeceased her on October 22, 2001. After high school she worked for several years as a secretary for Union Mutual Insurance Company. She then worked primarily as a home maker, helping her husband run the dairy farm, while raising her children. She also had a successful Tupperware business for many years. Lena was a member of the Old Meeting House Church, the Community Grange, and the East Montpelier Fire Auxiliary. Survivors include her son; Thomas Brazier and his wife, Ann and their children, Jenna and Michelle of East Montpelier; daughter, Nancy Brazier of East Montpelier; brother, Robert Dalley of Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her siblings; Virginia Marro, Betty Burnelle, Evelyn Atwood, Marian Phillips, Eugene Dalley, and Jack Dalley. Calling hours will be held from 6:00-8:00 on January 11, 2015 at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on January 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Old Meeting House Church in East Montpelier. Memorial contributions may be made to the East Montpelier Fire Department, P.O.
