East Montpelier, VT Lawrence E. Reed, Jr., 27, of East Montpelier, Vermont died on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Central Vermont Hospital. Larry was born June 5, 1982 in Berlin, Vermont, the son of Lawrence E. Reed, Sr. and Cynthia Currier Reed. He attended East Montpelier Elementary School and Union 32 High School. Larry worked as a tool and parts sales person at the Tool Warehouse on the Barre-Montpelier Road. He was also employed at the Pet-Deli on the Barre-Montpelier Road, Swish Kenco of East Barre, and Fisher Auto Parts and Advanced Auto Parts. Larry was a fisherman, and enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling and spending time with his family and children. Larry was also an avid race fan. He drove his own car at Thunder Road in the Road Warriors division. He had also worked on several pit crews over the past few years. He was a member of Sherri's Jubilee fan club. He is survived by a son, Eijah Reed; two daughters, Dakota Reed and Alyssia Grandfield; his parents, Lawrence and Cynthia Reed of East Montpelier; grandfather, Gordon Currier of Moretown; fiancee, Corinne LaForest of East Montpelier and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Justin Vasseur-Reed and a brother, Justin Reed. A grave side service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7th, at the Branch Cemetery, Craftsbury, Vermont. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 6th , from 6-9 PM at Guare & Sons Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier, Vermont.
