Lawrence Lee "Larry" Laquerre, Jr. of Berlin, Vermont, died on October 14 due to complications from chronic diseases.

He was born in Barre on Christmas Day in 1965 to the late Lawrence Laquerre, Sr., and Jeanette (Beauchemin) and attended schools in Barre, Chelsea, Randolph, and the Community College of Vermont. On July 16, 1988, he married Rosalie Freeman in Northfield.

As a youngster, he shared a large paper route and lawn mowing business with his brother in Chelsea, Vermont. During the summers and after high school, Larry worked with his father in concrete construction. Over his career, he worked as a licensed wastewater treatment plant operator, comic and gaming store owner, salesperson, production worker, and behavioral interventionist. During his residence at Woodridge Rehab and Nursing, he served as President of the Resident Council. He attained his first-degree as a Free Mason in 1990.

Larry is survived by his wife, Rosalie "Rosie," and son, Ryan, both of Berlin. He is also survived by his siblings Thad (Kim) of Westfield, Vermont, Gina (Ed) Duprey of Brookfield, Vermont, and Todd (Raeann) of Doylestown, Ohio, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was a science-fiction/fantasy genre reader, loved classic rock music, and was an avid gamer, enjoying role-playing games in person and online. He was a "people" person, and although he had some dementia, he never forgot anyone's name. You can help the family honor his memory by getting yourself tested for diabetes, buying a child a comic book, listening to great music, or having a game night with family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be hosted by the family during the summer of 2026.
