Montpelier, VT Laura R. Sironi, 93, formerly of Prospect Street, died on Friday April 27, 2018 at the Woodridge Nursing Home. She was born on August 4, 1924 in East Barre, VT, the daughter of Clifford and Fairy Rudd. She attended public school in Barre and surrounding towns. On August 12, 1950, she married Charles Sironi in Lebanon, NH. Together they moved to Montpelier where they ran the Sironi County Store on Main Street for 25 years until Charles death in 1978. She later worked as a Case Manager and Employment Advisor for the Vermont Associates for Training and Development until her retirement in 1991. She loved animals, enjoyed working with flowers, cooking, and was an avid reader. Survivors include her sister; Katherine "Kay" Hull of Montpelier; and nephew, Greg Hull and his wife Susan and their children, Jay, Ryan, and Jennifer; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
