Obituary

Barre, VT

It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Larry George Hull, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who departed this world on April 30, 2025, at the age of 75. Larry was born on October 11, 1949, in Montpelier, Vermont, where he later graduated from Montpelier High School in 1967.

Larry led a fulfilling life filled with passion and dedication. For an impressive 45 years, he served as a reliable school bus driver, and was known for driving Bus U-1 in Berlin. He was a steadfast presence in the lives of countless students, always ensuring their safety and comfort on the way to school, and forming lasting bonds with families.

Born to embrace the great outdoors, Larry enjoyed both hunting and fishing, finding joy and peace in nature. He was also a gentleman dairy farmer, proud of his roots, and took delight in mowing lawns for friends and neighbors, always extending a helping hand to those in need.

A devoted member of the Local Teamsters Union, Larry exemplified the values of hard work and community spirit. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Hull of Barre; daughter, Telia Utton and her husband, Michael of Plainfield; son, Jamie Hull. He leaved behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his sibling, Douglas Hull, Darlene Sumner, and Kimberly Stevens, and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter, Alysha Hull; brother, Dwight Hull, and a nephew, Dougie Hull.

As we remember Larry, let us celebrate the man who touched so many lives with his warmth and generosity. He will forever remain in our hearts, inspiring us to live with the same spirit of kindness and dedication he exemplified every day.
