L. Irene Kelley, 83, of North Street, Montpelier died Monday, October 12, 2009 at Woodridge Nursing Home. Irene was born in Plainfield, VT on February 28, 1926 the daughter of Robert & Edith (Shory) Harvey. She is survived by her husband, F. Judson Kelley of Montpelier, 3 daughters, Ann Murphy of Lakeville, MA; Patti Wheeler of Cabot, VT and Lauren Pemberton of Northfield, VT; 3 sons, Dennis Murphy of Barre, VT; Judson Kelley of Olympia, WA; Scott Kelley of Belfast, ME; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; many brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Peter Kelley in 1984. Committal service will be held in the spring time. Memorial contributions in Irene's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
