Obituary

Berlin, VT Kelly Francis Burke, 57, of Stewart Road, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Central Vermont Medical Center. He was born in Woodsville, NH, the son of Anne (Olmstead) and Raymond Burke. Kelly graduated from Union 32 High School in 1980. In 1983, he decided he wanted to expand his familys farm and started a dairy partnership with his mother. He continued to be a dairy producer until his death with his herd of Ayrshires. On May 30, 1992, he married Renee Beniot. Kely was an accomplished guitarist and musician playing in a number of local bands over the years, including the "Fanatix" and "Home Grown". In recent years he had been producing and recording his own songs on CDs. Kelly is survived by his wife, Renee Burke of Berlin; his children, Beckey and her husband Ross of Gloucester, VA, Brandy Burke and her partner, Matthew Watts of Garner, NC, and Bonnie Cloe Burke Whiteside and her partner, Luke Callow of Manchester, England; his father, Raymond Burke of Berlin, his siblings, Lyn Morris and her husband Joe of Berlin, Brody "Sam" Burke and wife Lucia of Berlin; his grandchildren, Colin, Hayden, and Erin Trottier, Brionna and Elija Watts, Ashley and Amber Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 1-3:00 pm on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home.
