Barre Town, VT Kathleen (Kay) Anne Kinney Warner passed peacefully in her sleep April 17, 2017 at Woodridge Nursing Home. Kathleen was born September 13, 1931 in Elkton, SD to Bernard and Eleanor Kinney. Kathleen married Theodore Warner in 1951. They raised their family in various parts of the country where Kathleen as well as being a homemaker worked for the Federal Government in different departments as an administrative assistant. Kay and Ted settled in Vermont in their retirement to be closer to their family. Kay is predeceased by her beloved husband, Theodore; son, Theodore Michael; her parents; as well as sisters and brothers, Jeanine, Betty, Bernie and Bill. She is survived by her daughters; Kathy Warner and husband Robert of Tairua, New Zealand, Patrice Alexander and husband Joseph of Cabot; son Greg Warner and wife, Laelia of Marshfield, VT. She also leaves her grandsons, Todd Hitchins and wife, Celia of Key West, FL, David Isaac and wife, Shannon of Barre, VT, and Moebius Simmons and partner, Jennifer Rathbun of Brooklyn, NY; and step-granddaughter, Heather Johnson and husband, Brent of Williamstown, VT; as well as great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Brandon Isaac, Drew Fongeallaz and Emma Hinckley. There will be no visiting hours. A private ceremony of Kay's life is being planned in the summer.
