Juliette Michaud Cunningham, 98, of Heaton Woods, died at her home on Sunday, June 29, 2008. She was born in Montpelier on June 16, 1910 the daughter of Pierre and Marie (Bouchard) Michaud. She attended St. Michael's Grade Schools and graduated from St. Michael's High School in Montpelier. On May 27, 1935 she married Martin J. Cunningham at St. Augustine Catholic Church. They lived many years in St. Albans, VT and returned to Montpelier in 1966. Mr. Cunningham predeceased her on October 19, 1985. After returning to Montpelier Juliette worked at the former Heaton Hospital and later for Central Vermont Hospital as a nurses aid and retired in 1975. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Montpelier Senior Citizens Center. Juliette is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends at Heaton Woods. She is predeceased by 3 brothers, Amedee, Charles and Lorenzo Michaud. There will be no calling hours. Memorial Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Heaton Woods, 10 Heaton Street, Montpelier. Burial will be at St. Augustine Cemetery.
