Janet White Moyse of Montpelier, Vermont passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on September 24, 1933 in Westport, Connecticut. Janet graduated from Brattleboro Union High School in the class of 1951. She was known for her congeniality, her love of cooking and entertaining, her love of life, her artistry, and her avid gardening skills. Janet also travelled the world with her predeceased husband Louis J. Moyse and managed his music affairs. During the last 14 years of her life, she was one of a special group of Montpelier women known as the "Wonderful Walking Women."
She is survived by her sister Sharon Reynolds, daughters Pamela Allen, Melody Allen and Heather Allen Edenhofer, son Blane Allen, four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Jennie White and father Arthur White Jr.; brothers Arthur White, Bruce White, and Wayne White; and sister Diane Bensusan. Janet will be remembered for her fiery spirit and great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by those who she touched throughout her life. A service will be held in the fall of 2021 in Newfane, Vermont.
