With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of James "Jamie" Duncan Brooks, beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and cherished member of the community.

Jamie was Born on February 6, 1953 at Heaton hospital in Montpelier, VT to George and Jean Brooks. He is predeceased by both parents and his sister Prudance Dowers.

Throughout his life, Jamie pursued a variety of interests with enthusiasm and skill. A dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox, he found joy in cheering for his favorite team, playing music, and spending time with his family. His talents extended to his skills as a mechanic, taxi driver, keyboard musician, businessman, and Computer tech to mention a few. He worked for IR Analyzers of Williston, VT until his retirement in 2019.

Jamie's life was marked by rich experiences, he was a kind man who left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His legacy lives on through his family, including his wife, Diana Brooks, his children Diana Brooks of Plainfield, VT, Roscoe Brooks of Plainfield, VT, Ethan Brooks, of Wisconsin, Briana, Katrina, and Jeannine Bradeen of Worcester, and Lee Bradeen of Wells River. His Brother Peter Brooks of Williston, his sister Jeanie Martin of Maine, and 9 grandchildren.

As we come together to honor his memory, funeral services and ceremonies will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Worcester United Methodist Church in Worcester, VT. In celebration of a well-lived life, let us remember James (Jamie) Duncan Brooks with love, gratitude, and admiration for all he brought to our lives. May his spirit continue to guide and inspire us, as we hold his memory dearly in our hearts. Rest in peace, Jamie. You will be deeply missed.
