James Robert Dawson, Jr. passed away on January 10th with his family by his side. Born April 6th of

1926 in Oak Park Illinois. Jim lived a long and full life. He was a World War II Veteran. His wife, the

love of his life, Blanche, preceded him in death in 2004. He was a lifelong educator, and was dedicated

to educating and mentoring children. People who knew him will miss his charm and quick wit. He is

survived by his five children, Ralph Dawson and Elaine Berkley, Sydnee Boucher, Rita Knapp, Greg

Dawson and his wife Rose Mary, and Flo Dawson and her husband Don; six Grandchildren, James

DeMaura and Fiancée Carly, Danielle LaPerle and her husband Josh, Natalie Dawson and Fiancée Rae

Nearhood, Taylor Dawson and her husband Dan, Chayton Boucher and his wife Kati, and Tehya Beth

Boucher; and three great-grandchildren, Madden, Morgan and Ellie.
