Gregory Elden Carbo, 55, of Bliss Pond Road, Calais, passed away on April 30, 2015. He was born on August 22, 1959 in Montpelier, VT, the son of James Arnold and Jessamine (Wood) Carbo. He attended Harwood Union High School and was in the graduating class of 1978. He entered into the Vermont National Guard after high school and served his community and country with 12 years of service. Gregory's hobbies included wood carving, fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. He also enjoyed music and was a guitarist and loved animals and children. Survivors include his son, Brandon Austin Carbo of Orleans, VT; twin sister, Kathy E. Carbo of Calais; brothers, James R. Carbo of Montpelier; Mike J. Carbo of Montpelier; and Neil Carbo of Calais, VT. He also leaves behind one grandson and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Steven. Memorial service will be held privately.
