On November 28th, 2024, our beloved daughter Gillian passed away unexpectedly at home surrounded by her family, from complications of diabetes.

Gillian was born on November 10, 1990 in South Korea and came home April 11, 1991 to her parents Ed and Carol and brother Ian. She attended Saint Michael's School and Berlin Elementary and graduated from U-32 High School in 2009. She then went on to work professionally as a banker in California and Vermont.

Gillian was a vibrant young woman whose passions included horseback riding, camping, kayaking, fishing, cooking, trips to Maine, and gardening. She loved her family, especially her nephew Brendan and her dog Andersen. She will be remembered as a caring and loving daughter, sister, and aunt. Gillian was a kind and loyal friend who would always go out of her way for others.

She is survived by her loving parents Ed and Carol, her brother Ian and partner Samantha, her nephew Brendan, a special friend, Cathy Diego and her best friends Megan Boisvert and Anna Bruce.

Funeral arrangements by Guare & Sons. A funeral mass will be held 11:00 am on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Saint Augustine's Catholic Church in Montpelier with reception to follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Central Vermont Humane Society or Good Samaritan Shelter.
