She is survived by her 3 children, Randy Barrows and his wife Ellie Thorsson of New Britain, CT; Cheryl Hamilton and her husband Bill Hamilton of West Danville; and James Barrows and his wife Penny Barrows of Graniteville. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and their spouses/partners: Kristie Bandolon and her husband Justin Bandolon; Shannon Trahan and her husband Taylor Trahan; Jim Barrows and his wife Deanna Barrows; Ryan Barrows and his fiancé Emily; Nathan Hamilton and his girlfriend Katie; and Nicole Dupont. 5 great granddaughters: Kendra Celley and Julianna Bandolon, Madeline, and Julianna Dupont, and soon-to-arrive Nevaeh Trahan. She is predeceased by her lifelong friend that has passed Agnes Fritz of CT, and so many other friends and family along the way. Eva lived a simple, but fulfilling life. She always enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved going for walks, playing bingo, crocheting, going for rides, fishing, and cooking. She also enjoyed attending concerts in the park, parades, going to yard sales, and spoiling her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She spent her childhood on Ward's Brook in Montpelier and then lived in CT for many years before moving back to Vermont. She always looked forward to her annual family Christmas trips to Connecticut, no matter what the weather she always stayed loyal to her family traditions and seeing her family. She loved with all of her heart, and she will be missed by all. Calling hours are Thursday January 12, 2017 at Guare Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier from 5-7pm.
