Erwin Frank Hickory

Erwin Frank Hickory of Middlesex, VT, passed away on November 5, 2025, at Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin, VT, surrounded by the love of his family.

Erwin was born to Raymond Hickory Sr. and Annie (Preston) Hickory on April 12, 1948, in Nashua, NH. Erwin was the "youngest" twin to his brother Ervin Hickory.

Erwin attended the Green Mountain School in Montpelier, VT. He worked for the State of Vermont for more than 30 dedicated years as a Custodian at the State Garage.

Erwin had many interests and hobbies, some of which included fishing at Wrightsville, hunting in the woods of Central Vermont, and watching wrestling, especially his favorite, John Cena. Erwin loved riding four-wheelers, snowmachining, flirting with the ladies, and chatting with friends at Dunkin' Donuts while sipping coffee.

Erwin will be dearly missed by his loved ones and friends. Erwin is survived by his children, Teena Cane, Steve Hickory, and Eric Hickory. His brother, Ray Hickory; sister-in-law, Nancy Hickory; niece, Lori Hickory; and nephew, Rob Hickory Sr. He is also survived by several grandchildren.

Erwin was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Raymond and Annie Hickory, as well as his twin brother Ervin Hickory.
