Montpelier, VT Edward E Rock, JR, 42, died unexpectedly January 11, 2022 of natural causes. He was born on May 18, 1979 to Julie (Langlois) and Ed Rock. He attended Montpelier School system through his sophomore year when he moved to Columbia SC with his family. He later graduated from Irmo High School. After graduating, Ed lived in Irmo, SC for 10 years with his wife Sharne. They later divorced and Ed returned to Vermont where he was employed by GW Plastics until his death. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family, online gaming, board games and being out in Hubbard Park. He was an animal lover, especially cats. Ed is survived by his mother, Julie (Haggett), father and stepmother Ed and Jane Rock, brother Matthew (Calley), stepbrother Chris (Carolyn) Haggett, stepsisters Christine Dube, Angela Baldwin and Jessica Peteranecz, nieces, Hayden and Taylor Rock, Caitlin and Brook Haggett. A nephew, TJ Haggett. maternal grandmother, Carol Stewart, and several aunts, uncles and close friends. Ed was predeceased by his stepfather, Thomas Haggett, maternal grandfather, Robert Stewart, and paternal grandparents Joan Blair and Robert Rock. A celebration of life will be held this spring.
