Terryville, CT Drewsylla Combs age 20 passed away August 20, 2014 peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. Drewsylla was born March 3, 1994 in Houston, TX. She graduated in 2012 from Terryville High school. She marched to the beat of her own drum and was never afraid to lend a helping hand to anyone she met. She enjoyed writing poetry and songs for others to enjoy, most of all she loved children. She always helped and encouraged her nieces Kyla, Kloe, and Summer as well as her nephew Luke. There was never a dull moment when they were together. Drewsylla always said and believed: "Live without excuses. Love without regrets" Drewsylla is survived by her Mother, Beth Berube of Terryville, CT; Father Jimmy Combs of Fort Campbell, KY; Brothers, Brock Combs of Westminster, CO; Cameron Combs and Erik Combs of Terryville, CT; her Sister, Ashley Wilkinson of Savannah, GA; Grandmother, Patricia McManis of Middlesex, VT; and Grandfather, Al Drown of Lyndonville, VT; as well as Lois Combs of Houston, TX. Her family roots are in Vermont with the Patterson family of Middlesex, VT. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 7-9 PM at Guare & Sons/Barber & Lanier Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier.
