So I ventured on again with traveling staff in hand I sojourned here for a while, enjoyed the laughter and tear There is no need to fret or cause for regret. I will say so long in the hope of the saints, The bonds I have forged here in the Lord are strong And for those who know the Lord goodbye is really only for now so long In the eternal, love grows not cold but warm On the other side of the Jordan We await for our truest rejoin I will not fear for I know the hope we share Yes, there is much work to be done But the battle for me has been won And when time is no more We will walk together once more.
