Doreen Ann Cliché

On January 2, 2025, the beloved mother of Josh and Nathan, Doreen Cliché passed away unexpectedly in Burlington, VT.

Doreen was born on June 29, 1951, in Bennington, VT, to Marshall Peters and Mary Livingston Peters. She attended school in Fairhaven, VT, and graduated in 1970. Doreen then went on to earn her LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) degree.

Doreen took great pride in her tireless work as a nurse. She worked for many years at Central Vermont Hospital, Woodridge Nursing Home, and local Foot Clinics, and shared her skill set at a local dental office.

Doreen is remembered for her quiet and reserved presence, her love of reading (mystery novels), and dance, and her appreciation for music especially 50s music.

Doreen was predeceased by her loving husband Roland Cliché in 2022, and her parents Marshall and Mary Peters.

Doreen is survived by her sons Josh and Nathan Cliché, extended family members, and dear friends.

Arrangements are in the care of Guare and Sons Funeral Home of 30 School Street in Montpelier, VT. There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doreen's name to CVHHH or the CVH Oncology Department.
