Barre, VT Donna M. Wheeler, 65, of Barre, VT died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 at Mayo Nursing Home in Northfield, VT. She has gone to join her beloved husband. Donna was born in Barre, VT on November 2, 1941. On December 31, 1960 she married John H. Wheeler in Montpelier. He died on December 7, 2000. She is survived by three children, Cora Lea Wheeler McCann and her husband, Demsey McCann of Montpelier; Brian L. Wheeler and his wife Tracey of Westbrook, Maine and Joseph S. Wheeler of Alexandria, VA; brother, David Smith and his wife, Valerie of Barre, VT; her mother, four grandchildren and nieces and nephews. At Donna's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
