Donna Leigh Alexander, 74, a longtime resident of Eagle Ledge Road, Worcester died March 25, 2019 at Central Vermont Medical Center. She was born in Montpelier on January 11, 1945 the daughter of the late Walter F. Hatch Sr. and the late Katherine Ella (Marckres) Hatch. Donna attended and graduated from the Montpelier School System in 1963. Donna worked at the Agency of Human Services, Department of Children and Families as a Program Technician. She retired after 36 years of service. She was married to Robert W. Alexander in Waterbury Center, VT on June 9, 1972. Bob predeceased her on November 7, 2012. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion Post # 3 and VFW # 792 of Montpelier. Donna is survived by daughter, Tammy Griggs and her husband, Sidney of East Barre; sons, Donald Jarvis, Jr. and his wife, Rebekah of Northfield Falls; and Scott Alexander and his wife, Lisa of Worcester; sister Dianne Kircher and her husband, Al of Forty Fort, PA; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frank Hatch, Walter F. Hatch Jr., Robert Viens and Lorraine Elliott. A memorial graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 11:00 am, at Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, VT.
