Donald J. Pedrozo, 85, of East Montpelier, Vermont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Berlin, Vermont.

He was born in Montpelier on August 24, 1940, the son of George and Gertrude (Macey) Pedrozo. Donald graduated from Montpelier High School in 1959. He later attended Montpelier City College, Husson College in Maine and served for a short time in the Army reserves. He worked for the Vermont Agency of Transportation from 1965 to 1996 until his retirement.

Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a special love for dogs. He was known for his appreciation of the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life.

He is survived by his sister, Christina Jones of Montpelier, as well as the many people who helped make his life meaningful throughout the years.

In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his wife of three years, Alison Pedrozo; and his sisters, Esther Gillett and Mary Corliss.
