Donald F. Buska, 75, formerly VT Route 100B, Moretown, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Woodridge Nursing Home.
Donald was born on March 26, 1937 in Montpelier, VT, the son of John E. and Ella Mae (Santamore) Buska. He attended schools in Middlesex.
On June 6, 1964, he married Barbara J. Badger at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Northfield, VT.
He worked 34 years for worked for Capitol City Steel and Supply Company and retired in 1982.
Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, telling stories and going to yard sales, or as he would refer to it as "going Junking". He would often buy brass candles holders and bells for his collection. He was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church and St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Buska of Barre, VT; a son Darryl Morre of White Plains, NY; sisters, Joyce White of Berlin, Pauline Nishan of Rutland, MA, and Isabelle Spires of Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Leona White, Eileen Simonds, Beatrice White, Marion Gabaree, Betty Young, Kenneth Buska, Myers Buska, Morris Buska, Olin Buska, and William Buska.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 15th at the Guare & Sons Funeral Home, 30 School Street, Montpelier, VT.
