East Montpelier, VT Diane E. Dopp, 63, formerly of Bassett street in Barre and most recently of County Road in East Montpelier, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. She was born on January 13, 1955 at the Heaton Hospital in Montpelier, the daughter of Aldo and Dorothy (MacDonald) Ciampi. She attended Montpelier Public School. In 1972, she married Richard C. Dopp. They later divorced. Before her retirement, Diane worked as an LNA for the Rowan Court Nursing Home in Barre. Diane enjoyed bird watching and would become excited when she saw a cardinal visit her feeders. She also enjoyed her cats. Most of all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her children; Richard Dopp of Berlin, Marie Dopp of Virginia and Karen Dopp of Barre; siblings, Brenda Prive of East Montpelier, Sandy Bailey of East Montpelier, and Michael Ciampi of East Montpelier; several grandchildren, Ashley Dopp, Curtis Morse, Jazmine Dopp, Branden Garrett, and Cameren Dopp; and great grandchild, Ryley Dopp Johnson She is predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Aldo Ciampi, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation: www.copdfoundation.org.
