Dennis Micheal Trahan of Hardwick, Vermont passed away at his home on May 28th, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded with love and support by his caregiver Nancy Welcome and case manager of many years, Laura Martin. He was born on May 19th, 1952 in Connecticut, and resided for the last 30 years in Vermont. He was a Veteran and proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Joe and Lori Trahan, Robert and Robin Trahan, Gail and Richard Danning, Patricia and Paul Johnston, Theresa Shary and Jim, Nancy and Sandy Carlise, Marcel Trahan, and Marie Trahan, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. Dennis was part of the PRIDE family and leaves behind many friends. His infectious smile, high jump heel clicking and finger snapping will be forever remembered as part of the fabric of PRIDE and all of those who had the privilege of knowing this larger than life man. Dennis was always willing to help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. His last years were full of the things he loved, fishing and the big tales that go with it, riding and caring for the horses at the Rhythm of the Rein, white ice cream, being part of all that is PRIDE, especially the Maine trip, and of course anything Harley-Davidson!
