Berlin, VT David M. Mahoney, 70, of Berlin, VT died unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on April 27, 2015. Born on May 4, 1944 in Newport, RI, he was the son of Timothy J. Mahoney and Eleanor A. (Mcnamara) Mahoney. He attended Arlington High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern University, going on to receive his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. David was most recently employed by Fidelity Investments and Comcast. David will be deeply missed by many friends and neighbors in Woburn and Belmont, MA where he resided most of his life. He leaves behind his beloved wife of more than 40 years Susanne M. (Smith) Mahoney of Berlin, VT as well as his two children: Michael D. Mahoney of Mashpee, MA and Lisa J. (Mahoney) Mancauskas of Montpelier, VT along with her husband Peter J. Mancauskas and their two children Sonya and Soren Mancauskas. He also leaves behind his two sisters Gail P. Mahoney of Cape Coral, FL and Kathleen J. Mootrey of Fort Myers, FL and her husband Warren Mootrey as well as their three children Janel, James & Meghan. David's Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on May 1st 2015 at St. Augustine Parish Church, 16 Barre St., Montpelier, VT. A public viewing will be held on the same morning of May 1 from 9-10:30am at Guare & Sons, 30 School St. Montpelier, VT. Memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to the Susan G.
