Klamath Falls, OR David D. Champine, 40, formerly of Middlesex, currently of Klamath Falls, OR, died March 6, 2009 at the Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland, OR.   David was born on August 16, 1968, the son of Walter and Shirley (Skirry) Champine.   He graduated from Union 32 High School in 1986. In 1990 he earned a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science from Unity College in Unity, Maine.   Following his education David worked as a park ranger for the U.S. Park Service at the Washington D.C. National Mall. He moved to Oregon in 2000 where he also was a park ranger for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at Tule Lake Wildlife Refuge. While living in Washington, D.C. David participated in World War I reenactments and in Klamath Falls he was a member of the Cascade Civil War Society. David always enjoyed hunting and fishing and the outdoors. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Klamath Falls.   Survivors include his parents Walter and Shirley Champine of Middlesex, VT; a brother, Joe Champine of Worcester, VT; and his sister, Ann Krom of Kingston, NY; 2 nieces and 2 nephew and 2 uncles.   Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009 from St. Augustine Catholic Church in Montpelier.   Committal prayers and burial will be in the spring at the Middlesex Center Cemetery.
