Cyril attended Worcester United Methodist Church. He enjoyed nature and enjoyed the Vermont changing seasons; in the winter, he snowshoed; in the spring, it was picking fiddleheads; in the Fall – picking butternuts; in summer, his yard was impeccably landscaped. Resting in his hammock or walking in the woods, he enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife, and took many camera photos trying to capture the vivid colors of our gorgeous Vermont sunsets.
Until his eyesight failed, he was an avid reader and especially enjoyed Louis Lamore westerns. He enjoyed listening to many "old-time" country western ballad and legend singers. In recent years, he especially enjoyed music sung by Daniel O'Donnell and Mary Duff.
