Berlin, VT Cynthia W. Crandall died at Woodridge Nursing Home on May 12, 2008, after an extended period of poor health. She was born in Jesup, Georgia, on July 20, 1934, to Fred Robert and Mary Agnes (Wood) Crandall. As a young child, she moved to Montpelier and then to Rutland, graduating from Mt. St. Joseph's Academy in Rutland in 1953. Eventually she lived in Burlington and Richford before coming to Woodridge. Her years were spent loving her extended family, animals, and her faith. Cynthia leaves cousins, nieces, and nephews in Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, Louisiana, Washington, and California. Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2008, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Barre Street, Montpelier, VT. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Guare and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
